Home
Yesterday, just before noon, Noah was given the okay to come home from the hospital. Friday, he was taken off of the steady morphine infusion and this gave us the freedom to wander the floor beyond the ward on his trike. His neutrophils and white blood cells have popped back up to a fairly decent level and they should continue to rise the further he gets away from his last round of chemo. The mucositis also seems to be resolving as Noah is once again drinking lots of milk and as he is also beginning to pick a bit more at solid foods.
He is not back to his old self quite yet, however, and he is pretty tired and sore and, overall, a bit touchy. He can get into play when the desire overwhelms him but he tuckers out quickly. So we wait for his strength and energy to return.
Thanks, once again, for all for the prayers and well wishes. We are rich in community and are blessed by the love and care we continue to be shown.
Love to all of you!
Great that you keep us up to date on Noah's health. We give thanks when he is home and feeling some better and pray even harder when he is feeling poorly. Blessings to all your complete family.
Love this Sunday update!
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Blessings to all of you. Glad Noah is at home again for now! Always more comfy at home especially at the moment. 🥰
